Which data do we use and why?
We never ask for more than necessary. These are the situations in which we receive data from you:

We never sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
How long do we keep your data?
- Messages via the contact form or email: up to 1 year, unless you become a client.
- Client data: as long as you are a client, and up to 2 years after that.
- Invoices and administration: 7 years, because the Dutch Tax Administration requires it.
- Server log files: up to 30 days.
- Statistics (Google Analytics): 2 months.
Who do we share your data with?
Only with parties we need to do our work. Agreements have been made with them about the security of your data.
- Hostinger: hosting of this website and our email, within the European Union.
- Google (Google Analytics): only if you switch on Statistics. We have switched off data sharing with Google for other purposes.
- Accounting software and bank: for invoices and payments.
- Dutch Tax Administration: when the law requires it.
Your data does not go to countries outside the European Union, unless that is necessary for an assignment and you are told about it in advance. One exception is Google Analytics: Google may also process data in the United States. This happens under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Do we work with data of your clients?
Sometimes we build or manage something that contains data of your clients, such as a booking system or a client portal. Then you are responsible for that data, and we only process it on your instructions.
For this we sign a data processing agreement together. It states exactly what we may and may not do with that data.
How do we protect your data?
- The website and the contact form use a secure connection (https).
- Accounts are protected with strong passwords and, where possible, two-step verification.
- Only YekTech has access to your data.
- We keep no more than necessary and delete data when the retention period has ended.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. Without your consent we only store your cookie choice. If you switch on Statistics, we also use Google Analytics.

Statistics are off until you switch them on. If you withdraw your consent later with the button below, we stop measuring and delete the Analytics cookies. We do not use marketing cookies at the moment.
You can also always delete cookies yourself in your browser settings.
Your rights
You always have the right to:
- view your data;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- object to the use of your data;
- receive your data in a file, so you can use it elsewhere.
Email your request to info@yektech.nl. You will get an answer within a month. Sometimes we ask you to show who you are, so we do not give data to the wrong person.

Not happy with how we handle your data? Let us know first, and we will solve it together. You may also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
We may change this statement, for example when we start using something new on the website. The top of the page always shows when the statement was last updated.
